How long will it be before Bath and North East Somerset Council realise that charging £2.20 an hour for on-street parking, then giving visitors a £30 penalty for coming back 5 minutes late is short-sighted.
It's about time they adopted the enlightened attitude of Plymouth where shoppers are welcome.
We never come into the city centre to shop now, preferring Keynsham, Trowbridge and Chippenham where the charges are reasonable.
