Ken Russell shoots Savage Messiah

Ken Russell shooting his 1972 film Savage Messiah just outside my old front window in Abbey Churchyard.
He turned Shores shoe shop (now Binks Restaurant) into an art gallery, Dorothy Tutin who played Sophie Brzeska is on the left.
In February 2005 I had the privilege to meet and photograph Ken; let's just say he lived up to my expectations!
